The Pro Academy History
Over the last 17 years Deano’s Pro Soccer Academy has grown from strength to strength since its humbled beginnings in 2002 with one Soccer School on a Monday night with 10 keen footballers in attendance.
Now with over 300 children coached every week through Deano’s Pro Soccer which has produced many talents at clubs such as Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Lincoln City & Boston United coupled our (EDP) Elite Development Programme Deano’s Pro Soccer is number one for football development, fun and enjoyment. Our First Kicks Programme, Soccer Academy, After School soccer clubs and holiday Soccer Camps are now more popular than ever!!!!
All children who attend Soccer Academy will make new friends embrace the spirit of the game, learn new skills and techniques by fully qualified FA Level 1 coaches all CRB cleared with first aid and several years of experience coaching youth soccer.
With 4 different Coaching nights;
First Kicks – For the very young beginner the novice the first introduction into football with fun based football drills & games.
Development Academy – For the more serious footballer who wants to learn more & learn new skills; how to create space, teamwork play, fitness and conditioning this is the programme for you.
Deano’s Pro Soccer Academy’s Elite Development Programme (EDP) – Is by “Invitation Only” for that special player with a very special talent who wants to go all the way to the top.
Friday Night Pre Scholars Academy / U13’s EDP – Intense training night for ages 13-16 with the purpose of training and improving for our Scholarship programme, alongside our U13’s EDP training
Full Time Scholarship Education Programme – The Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport (Development, Coaching and Fitness route) is a 2 year programme which provides a vocational insight into various areas of the sports industry and education, it involves a 50/50 ratio of football training and education with the education provided by our partners VLUK and the training provided by us at Deano’s Pro Soccer Academy

My name is Dean Walling but everyone calls me “Deano” and I’ve been running my own successful Soccer Academy for 13 years since retiring from professional football after a long career spanning over 20 years.
My previous pro clubs include Leeds United, Rochdale AFC, Carlisle United, Doncaster Rovers, Cambridge United & what’s now my local club Lincoln City who I captained for 2 years to promotion in 1998.
I hold a current FA Level 3 coaching license and I’m working hard to obtain my FA Level 4 qualification.
My Favourite position when I played was Centre back where I loved to score goals from corners. My hobbies are socialising with my friends & spending time with my family. My favourite team is Leeds United (Yeh you heard that right the first time) and Chinese, Indian & Thai food is what I like to eat for my weekend treat.
Some people say I have a unique expertise when coaching children but you’ll have to see that for yourself!
