Under 12’s
Since I took over the U12s this time last year the U12s have done very well and are doing well. We have 12 squad players who have been developing really well and trying really hard. The U12s captain is Jamshed Khadem, vice-captain is Sam Walters. The formation we play is 3-1-2-1. We like to press the ball high and play with a high tempo and try to win the ball back as quick as possible. We have played lots of games against Midlincs teams and Academy teams like, Lincoln city, Hull City, Doncaster Rovers and Scunthorpe United. The best I witnessed was against Hull City we lost 1-0 but didn’t deserve to we played football we pressed well and work as a team and it was a great team performance. We have recently just lost two players to Lincoln City FC. The players are Luke Horne(CF) and Callum Judge(D). These two have been training hard and been playing very well and their hard work has paid off. That is the overall aim for all the players to achieve to make that step up and progress to an academy club.

Development
Our aim is to develop the players to the highest possible standard. And to pass them on to the next level of development. We try and play as many academy teams as we can so it gives our lads the chance to show what they can offer to the academy. We have lost two of our players to Lincoln City after playing them and Lincoln were impressed with the two boys and asked them to go back for a six week trail which they successful completed and got asked to sign for Lincoln City.
